Edmonds Driftwood Players (EDP) is an award-winning, volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theatre that has been entertaining, educating, and enriching the King and Snohomish county communities since 1958, making it one of the oldest continually operating community theatres in Washington State. In November 2018, ARTSWA selected the downtown area of the City of Edmonds as Washington State’s first Certified Creative District, and EDP is proud to be the Certified Creative District’s venue for live theatre.

The Theatre Technical Director (TD) collaborates with the artistic team of the production and provides technical assistance during performances within the framework of Edmonds Driftwood Players (EDP) requirements, under the supervision of the Managing Director (MD).

Build Supervisor Job Description

The Theatre Build Supervisor collaborates with the artistic team of the production and provides technical assistance during set design and build within the framework of Edmonds Driftwood Players (EDP) requirements, under the supervision of the Technical Director (TD).

PLAYWRIGHTS

Our annual Festival of Shorts is a great way for playwrights to present work to an enthusiastic audience. Hundreds of playwrights submit their plays and eight scripts are chosen to be performed over the highly popular weekend-long festival. Sign up to receive notification when we post our call for unpublished short (10-12 minutes in length) scripts.
