Congratulations to the production team, casts, and crew of the 9th Annual Festival of Shorts. It was a marvelous weekend of drama at The Wade James.

In case you missed our closing ceremonies on Sunday, the following scripts won awards:
Judges choice – 3rd place: After the Intervention written by W.L. Newkirk of Celebration, FL. This show was directed by Eric Bischoff and featured Richard Morris and Joshua H. Behn.
Judges choice – 2nd place: Tea with Kate and Lady Bird written by Lawson Caldwell of Charlotte, NC. This show was directed by Kelly Flynt and featured Rita Baxter, Elisabeth Camara, and Carol Richmond.
Judges choice – 1st place: Oh No! I Flew Too Close to the Sun! written by Rand Higbee of Red Wing, MN. This show was directed by Paul Fleming and featured Sherry Penoyer, David Alan Morrison and Scott Mullet.

This show is a part of our TIPs series (Theater of Intriguing Possibilities) and as such, seating is not reserved for this show but patrons will have the freedom to choose their seats when they arrive for the show. The doors will open 30 minutes prior to curtain for patron seating.
